A few weeks ago I was invited to a event for a local restaurant to showcase their new fall menu and I had an amazing time. It was a warm fall evening and perfect weather to enjoy the patio.
Not only did I get to taste some amazing food and enjoy some specialty fall cocktails, but I got to enjoy the company of some friends and associates I had not yet gotten to meet in person. I even got to do a little shopping with a fun pop-up from Azura Apparel.
They started off the evening with handing out samples of their fall cocktails and they were delicious. I am in love with their fall sangria, it is a perfect balance of sweet and tart.
The pumpkin pie martini was a little on the sweet side for me, but if you love a good cocktail that tastes like dessert this is for you. After everyone had a chance to shop and a little bit of their cocktails, they started to bring out the appetizer samplers. A sweet potato curry soup with a crunchy churro topper and some lovely butternut squash risotto balls. The soup had a hint of spice, so be warned if you don't like spice. It was a nice surprise! The risotto balls were a sweet surprise literally sweet, crunchy and creamy on the inside. I think these were my favorite. I didn't get to try the stuffed mushrooms with sausage since I am a vegetarian, but everyone was going crazy for
them. I won't spoil everything for you, you will have to go to 350 Grill to check out the rest of the menu.
It was a lovely way to spend a sunny, warm fall evening. Eating, drinking and shopping my 3 favorite things. Thank you 350 Grill for the lovely invite!
