Picture
Taking your favorite brownie recipe to the next level with this tasty spin! I shared my recipe with the team at Studio 10. Check it out here and try the recipe below.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup all purpose flour or gf all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/2 cup tahini or other nut butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs or flax egg
1/2 cup maple syrup or other natural liquid sweetener
1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks
Note: If tahini is too strong of a flavor for you cut it in half with cashew or almond butter

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350. Grease a 9x9 pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Whisk the dry ingredients until well combined. In a large measuring cup or small bowl add the wet ingredients eggs, vanilla extract, maple syrup and combine until smooth. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until a wet batter forms, don’t over mix. Fold in the chocolate chunks. Add the batter to the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
