I consider myself a high vibing entrepreneur, and I desire to find moments of joy and happiness in every single day. Raising your vibration can instantly shift your energy and mood. It’s kind of like a superpower.
Smile, and your vibration will go up! I promise it will. If I am feeling off and having trouble finding happiness- I create it! And you can too! Simply writing down a list of everything that brings joy into your life can make you smile. Think about your favorite foods, aromas, and sensations. Start by writing, “I am a yes for…” Write freely and honestly. I am a yes for lobster with warm-drawn butter. I am yes for fuzzy blankets on rainy days. I am a yes for citrus essential oils. Try it out and have fun with it!
Does the thought of writing make you cringe a little? It’s all good- journaling is not for everyone! Remember that we all experience happiness differently, so find what works best for you. One of my favorite ways to find happiness is to listen to 528 Hz frequency music, especially while I am in the shower. It’s calming and brings joy to my life. Maybe frequency music is a little outside your comfort zone, and no judgment there. Listen to your favorite songs. Dance it out, be free! There are also so many podcasts you can listen to that will make you laugh until you are in tears, happy tears! My current faves include Office Ladies podcast if I want something funny or Ambitchious if I am looking for motivation.
Do you have an office job or actually go into work instead of hopping on Zoom calls? Color and texture can bring you happiness. As a teacher, I love using stickers, colorful pens, and of course, an endless supply of rainbow Post-it notes. Add fun colors to your outfits- maybe some statement earrings, try a new eyeshadow, or other jewelry. Incorporate your favorite things into your workday. Feel the joy fill up your entire aura.
Connection. Something that we all have been lacking and maybe even craving during the pandemic. Connect with people who light you up, motivate and inspire you. Not your friends who will only have negative conversations and suck your high vibing energy. Trust me, we all have them in our lives. I highly recommend chatting with a friend on the phone, leaving them a positive voice clip, or setting up a virtual happy hour. If you have the opportunity, go for a walk with a friend or prepare a delicious dinner together.
Finding happiness should be effortless. You shouldn’t have to force it; it should just happen naturally. Be in the flow of life- it’s happening for you, not to you! Next time you are feeling off or just desire more joy in your life, ask yourself, what makes you happy?
