2021 is flying by, I can't believe that Super Bowl Sunday is almost here. I am a little sad my Patriots didn't make it this year, but who are we kidding.
I may not always be into who is playing in the game but I can always get into the Super Bowl food. I always try to have a balance of the classic foods people love while watching the game and some fun updated but healthier snacks. Onion dip is a classic game day snack but it is definitely not healthy and it never tastes fresh enough to me.
I have an herby yogurt dip that will satisfy the most hardcore onion dip lovers. It is a cross between onion dip and ranch. I love serving with fresh veggies or just simple brown rice chips. No matter what team wins Sunday, I can say for sure this dip is a winner.
1 1/2 cups Greek Yogurt or Skyr
1 Lemon, zested and juiced
1 tbs. Dill
4 tbs. Fresh Chives or Scallions, chopped
Salt and Pepper to taste
In a small bowl add the yogurt, lemon zest and juice, salt and pepper to taste. Add the fresh and dried herbs and mix into the yogurt. Stir to combine. Served with your favorite veggies, rice chips or crackers.
