The Holiday Special Touch in Virtual Connection

Picture
There is no doubt the 2020 holiday season will look different this year. Just because we have to forgo the usual big holiday parties and family get togethers, that doesn't mean we can't find fun ways to connect and celebrate together.
I decided this wasn't going to stop me from spreading some festive cheer to my family. I went online and ordered holiday pj's for the whole family to wear Christmas Eve!! We will be wearing our pj's over video chat and celebrating that way, but we still get to all be connected.

Below are a few ideas you can do to make your family's holiday celebration safe and festive:

  1. Create an ambiance by setting a beautiful table or background.
  2. Make sure your family agrees to a time to connect and that it is good for everyone. My family lives in different time zones, so we have to be mindful of this.
  3. Holidays are all about the food and the memories they illicit. Pick one or two recipes you can make and share together over video chat. If you live in the same city, you can safely prepare care packages and deliver them to older relatives doorsteps.
  4. After you eat, watch your favorite holiday movie together over Watch Party, play holiday trivia or whatever your family's favorite holiday tradition is.
  5. Create a holiday playlist you can share.

To help you create new ways of connecting this holiday season, I've created two limited edition, no-contact delivery, holiday boxes that you can gift your loved ones!
